You, who changed everything. I can not grasp how time has flown by since you entered my world. Like a punch to the stomach the thought of time takes my breath away.

I remember how you cried and cried when you were very little. How I would walk around every night with you in my arms to keep you from screaming. How your cry would frustrate me like nothing else and how I could not bear to be without you even for just a minute.

You, who changed everything, you who have become such a clever, good and beautiful child. You go on your own adventures now and I call your name over and over again 'cause I'm still not sure if you will manage without me. But you will and you do. But you always return to me. And your favorite place to seek comfort is still in my arms.
